Letitia Robb

I started working with LNK in June 2017, as a Achievement Coach for the Aspire Higher Programme for young people. I wanted to work with this organisation, due to the work being done to help rebuild and help the community to provide a greater future for young people. As a person raised in Croydon, I have seen all sides of it, the good, the bad and the ugly and I wanted to be part of preparing our youths to enable them to progress.

As an achievement coach, I am responsible for all the young people LNK is mentoring are achieving their goals within education and their personal skills. I assist and support young people, who have been identified as being at risk of becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training). I find school and work placements, accompany them to interviews for moral support and act as a point of contact for tutors or employers for concerns. I work with the school roadshows teaching the awareness of the consequences of knife crime and youth crime to young people to primary schools in Croydon.

Our goal is to encourage and help our young people get into further education of work or education to improve their future prospects.
