Karen Stracey

I started working with LNK since June 2017 as a case worker, to ensure that the young people mentored on the Aspire Higher Program have post-16 provisions e.g. College, apprenticeship or employment. My previous background is 9 years working as a higher-level teaching assistant at Woodside Academy, Croydon. I wanted to work with LNK because I enjoy working with children/young people and I felt this would be a new challenge for me, and an exciting opportunity which of course is very rewarding.

My role as Fundraising Co-ordinator, I contribute to all aspects of fundraising programs for LNK. This involves assisting with strategies in ways we can achieve the best outcomes, developing new fundraising goals to reach contributors to collaborate with, and bringing people and our community together to create the best experience to help support our young people.
