Croydon has had a far higher percentage increase in knife crime than the capital's average, with a 103% increase in 2017, 22% more than the next highest borough's increase

A rise in the number of Youth Knife Crime Offences is also apparent across London, and 2018 proved to have the most offences on record for nearly a decade
